The sixth edition of the Esports Championship series is about to begin, featuring 20 teams across Europe and North America.
ECS Season 6 will kick off the online action with 10 teams from Europe and North America competing through five weeks of action. The teams will play in a best-of-one series, where each side will play against all others in their division twice.
The top four teams from each division will advance to the offline finals in Arlington, Texas, at the brand new 100,000-square foot Esports Stadium from November 22-25. The bottom two teams will have to go through the next season's Challenger Cup for a chance to return to the league.
North and OpTic were the two European teams to secure their spots via the new Challenger Cup, while, despite placing third in the qualifying process, LDLC have been awarded the final spot due to GODSENT failing to submit a line-up on time.
